Field of research:
I started research of the oral microbiology, because I was interested in the way bacteria help each other or fight each other, just as humans do. And research of oral microorganisms never comes to an end, considering the existence of several hundred types and a quantity of 100 Mio. microorganisms per 1mg of dental plaque. Right now, the focus of my research is the behavior of fungi, who hide and do no harm, when their number is small, but are harmful when their number increases due to change of the environment (cause of a disease called opportunistic infection)
